The biggest upset of wild card weekend is brewing in Cincinnati.
The San Diego Chargers jumped out to a 14-10 lead on the favored Cincinnati Bengals in the third quarter.
Things got worse when Andy Dalton scrambled, dove into the turf, and fumbled without getting touched by anyone. The Chargers converted a field goal after the turnover to make it 17-10.
By rule, the ground isn't allowed to cause a fumble if a player is being touched. But as you can see, Dalton forced this fumble all by himself.
On the next possession, he threw an interception. A Chargers field goal made it 20-10 (via @gifdsports):

It's now 27-10 with a few minutes left.
Turnover differential is the stat that's most highly correlated to winning. Dalton's rough three possessions just destroyed his team's chances.
