Heads up! We are minutes away from the release of the second estimate of fourth quarter 2013 U.S. GDP, due out from the U.S. Bureau of Economic Analysis at 8:30 AM ET.
The consensus forecast of market economists polled by Bloomberg is for GDP growth to be revised down to 2.5% at an annualized pace from the BEA's prior 3.2% estimate. Personal consumption growth is expected to be revised down to 2.9% annualized from 3.3%. The GDP price index and the core PCE deflator are both expected to remain unchanged at 1.3% and 1.1%, respectively.
